Before I had the money to be able to afford brands like MAC, their lipsticks had been the one item that I had said to my self "one day I will have them all". Which will never happen. One, because am I really going to wear all the shades they have, no. And two, I don't need to have the shades I won't wear. So over the past couple of years, I have been picking up MAC lipsticks that I feel like I would wear often and really get the use out of them. My collection is only small, but I do have a few on my wishlist for my next trip to MAC or when I Back to MAC.
The lightest lipstick is Peach Blossom, which is a creamsheen cool toned pink nude. I love this one in the summer, as it's nude but still looks bright and fresh on the lips. The next one is my favourite which you can tell by how much I've used it, Patisserie. For me, this is the perfect my lip but better shade. It's a frost finish, and it makes my lips look nice and plump. Mehr has been really hyped up lately and there is a good reason. It's a matte finish but feels comfortable on the lips, and the colour is a dusty cool mauve shade, which is on trend at the moment. Russian Red is a classic blue tone red, and would honestly look good on anyone. It also makes your teeth look whiter which is a bonus! Lastly is probably my favourite of the bunch, the much loved Diva. I love wearing dark shades, and this shade is the most beautiful deep red shade with a hint of purple.
