February Favourites | 2016

Another month, another favourites. The month of February has been a busy one. After getting back from my holiday, I've been looking for jobs, starting to plan my 21st, going to other people's 21st and getting back into the swing of things. I haven't bought any makeup since getting back as I am now super poor, but I did start to use all the stuff I got while I was away, which is mainly what you'll see in this favourites.

Makeup
It seems that my makeup loves this month have been all about the primers and lip products. I bought the Stila One Step Correct Primer for my holiday, thinking it would better suit my skin in the winter weather. Which it did, but what surprised me was how well it worked when I got back home to the brutal summer weather. I don't find it corrects a whole lot, but it does sit well under my foundation and I find it's less patchy and has a smoother finish. Another one I love is the Make Up For Ever Step 1 Mattifying Primer, which I bought in Paris. You need the tiniest amount for this to work. I just put it on my nose, cheeks, and forehead, which is where I always get oily. I wore the NARS Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella a few weeks ago to a 21st and I was getting so many compliments on my lipstick. I think this is the most flattering red shade and the formula is not drying at all. The Sephora Cream Lip Stain in Marvelous Mauve is an amazing liquid lipstick. It drys down completely matte and stays on during a meal, which is amazing.

Music & TV
My faves in music this month can all be summed up in my February Playlist. But the real favourite of them all is BORNS, and his song "Electric Love". It's such a catchy tune and you should check out the rest of his album, which is just pure goodness as well.

In terms of TV, my new favourite obsession on Netflix is Suits. It follows two guys, one who is a damn fine lawyer, and his associate, who is hiding a big secret. It is mainly a drama, but it definitely has a lot of comic bits in it, which I why I love it.Very, very addictive. I've also been watching Community again, which is one of my all time favourite shows. Abed and Troy give me life, they are hilarious!

Lifestyle
One thing I treated myself to when I was away was a new wallet. I have been eyeing off this Michael Kors one for a while. I decided to go with navy blue because it looks classic, and it's different to my usual black. The leather is scratch resistant which is great so it hopefully wont get destroyed. I feel so grown up now that I have a fancy purse and it's definitely my favourite present to myself.

What have you been loving this month?
