Soft Gold Smokey Eye with NARS Isolde | MOTD

The other night, I went to concert by the West Australian Symphony Orchestra and it was phenomenal! Every time I leave one of those concerts (I try and go as frequently as possible) I feel so inspired and want to practice my flute even more! It did the trick while I was at uni, I made sure I went to a performance a few weeks out from any of my performances. But I love to get dressed up and go, and do my makeup all fancy. So this is how I did a soft smokey gold eye for a night at the orchestra!

The Tales of a False Lash Newbie + Helpful Tips

False lashes have always scared me. Back in the day when I did dancing, I remember the mums sticking these on my eyelids, and having the feeling that there were weights on my eyes through they day and I had blinkers on. The next experience with these came when I had my makeup done for my recital last year, and I loved the way they looked. So since then, I've been trying to wear them more often and practice my application of them.

Empties #10

We made it to empties number 10, yay! I feel like it's been only a few weeks since I did the last one but I seem to have accumulated a lot in a short space of time. As usual you get to peek into my trash and see what I've finished, and what my thoughts are, positive or negative.

Rose Gold Smokey Eye With MAC's Tan Pigment

I have always been very afraid of using pigments because a) they seem messy, and b) my eyeshadow game is not very strong. But I told myself, I won't get any better if I don't keep trying new things and practicing new techniques. I took this as a sign to go shopping and I ended up getting the MAC Pigment in Tan. I thought this would be a good colour to start with because it's neutral and I could wear it day or night to any occasion.
